Our Head office is located at Bingley and we have recently opened a Durham office to specifically cover the North East of England area improving our nationwide coverage.
The firm was established by Glenn Chivers in October 2001 with the aim of meeting the need of a specialist and high quality crime and road traffic practice in Bingley. Glenn was formerly a founder partner of Chivers Walsh Smith, widely recognised as one of Bradford's flagship quality suppliers of legally aided and privately funded legal services. Also within the practice is Jill Darrington (Consultant) and Jane Nield (Consultant), Maria Temkow (Consultant) and Ruth Weir (Consultant) who practice at the Police Station, Magistrates' Court and Crown Court.
In terms of practice and office management Glenn is assisted by Jan Cooper and in the smooth running of the business.
Chivers Solicitors have a dedicated and specialist prison law team with offices based in Bingley and Durham. We offer nothing but honest and professional advice. We deal with your case speedily and efficiently. We aim to provide a quick response to all initial contacts.
From the Bingley office we offer a Nationwide service and also regularly attend HMP Leeds, Wealstun, Wolds, Everthorpe, Hull, Full Sutton, Doncaster, Wakefield, Ranby, Moorland (Open and Closed), Whatton, Liverpool, Buckley Hall, Doncaster, New Hall, Risley and Lindholme.
Marcus Farrar, Nicola Lines, Kathryn Mark, Michael Stephenson and Catherine Jarmola are based in the Bingley office.
Our Durham office concentrates on HMP Acklington, Castington, Deerbolt, Durham, Frankland,Haverigg, Holme House, Kirklevington Grange, Low Newton and Northallerton. Janet Potts, Michelle Coulson, Chris Noon and Robert Donnelly are based in the Durham office. They are assisted by Helen Maule.
